Who we are
This website is operated by New MedTek Devices Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), an Australian company based in North Sydney, New South Wales. We make RrhoidCath™, a medical device for pain management after haemorrhoidectomy.
What this website is for
The website provides general information about RrhoidCath™ and New MedTek Devices for patients, healthcare professionals and hospitals in Australia. RrhoidCath™ is supplied in Australia and is not available for purchase by the general public. Nothing on this website is an offer to supply the device outside Australia.
Not medical advice
The content on this website is general information only. It is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for a consultation with a qualified healthcare professional who knows your circumstances. Whether RrhoidCath™ is suitable for you is a decision for your surgeon. Do not delay seeking, or disregard, medical advice because of something you have read here.
Healthcare professionals must rely on the Instructions for Use supplied with the device and on their own clinical judgement, not on this website.
The surgeon portal
Parts of the website are available only to registered healthcare professionals. If you register for the portal, you confirm that you are a healthcare professional and that the details you give us are true and current. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything done under your account. Tell us promptly at the address below if you think your account has been used without your permission.
Portal content is intended for healthcare professionals in Australia. Please do not share it with the general public. We may suspend or close an account that is used in breach of these terms.

When you use the website or the portal, you agree not to:
- Use it for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that breaches these terms.
- Try to gain unauthorised access to any part of it, its servers, or any connected system.
- Introduce viruses or other harmful code, or do anything that could damage or disrupt it.
- Copy or scrape its content by automated means, except as permitted by our robots directives.

Intellectual property
The website and everything on it, including text, images, illustrations, video, documents and the RrhoidCath™ name and logo, belong to New MedTek Devices Pty Ltd or our licensors. You may view the website and download the brochures we provide for your own personal or professional reference. You may not otherwise copy, modify, publish or distribute any of it without our written permission. RrhoidCath™ is a trade mark of New MedTek Devices Pty Ltd.
Links to other websites
The website may link to websites we do not control, such as the Therapeutic Goods Administration. We provide those links for convenience only. We are not responsible for their content, and a link does not mean we endorse them.
Liability
We take care to keep the website accurate and available, but we do not promise that it will always be accurate, complete, up to date or free of errors or interruptions. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website or its content.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. Where our liability can be limited, it is limited, at our option, to supplying the relevant service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.
Privacy
How we handle personal information, including what we collect through the contact form and the portal, is set out in our privacy policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the website or the law changes. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Your continued use of the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
