Pain relief after haemorrhoid surgery,
right where it’s needed.
RrhoidCath™ is a wearable device that delivers local anaesthetic to the surgical area for up to 7 days after a haemorrhoidectomy.
Ask your surgeon whether RrhoidCath™ is right for you.
From surgery to recovery
at home.
The device is placed during your operation, worn at home, and removed at a routine follow-up visit.
RrhoidCath™ delivers continuous local anaesthetic to the surgical site for up to seven days, easing pain right where it matters through the hardest part of recovery.
Most patients are discharged the same day as their haemorrhoidectomy and recover at home with the device in place.
Most patients get through those first days needing little more than simple pain relief.
The catheters tunnel to a small exit point over the hip, well away from the surgical area, and connect to a pump carried in a soft over-the-shoulder bag.
Removal is quick and routine, done in your surgeon's rooms; no special instruments are needed and the visit is short.
What patients say.
Individual experiences vary. Ask your surgeon whether RrhoidCath™ is right for you.
“I only experienced pain after a bowel motion, and it was not at all severe. Otherwise I had no pain. I am so glad I had the pain pump. My husband and children were very surprised at how easily I moved about at home without pain.”
“I was over the moon. I experienced very little pain in the first week. My niece had a haemorrhoidectomy (without RrhoidCath™) and told me it was extremely painful.”
“My pain levels were MUCH less compared with two friends' experiences who did not use the pump.”
